Unusually this year we have 17 finalists. This is because of the way the marks fell from the 3 adjudicators Paddy Glackin, Maeve Donelly and Connie O Connell. Rather then interfere and force a reduction we decided to take the list. To the majority of you, those who did not make the list, i would say you have my affection and gratitude for competing. It is not a reflection on your overall playing, just the playing of the 5 tracks you uploaded. I have some personal friends among you. To the 17, Séamus will be in touch with regard to arrangements.
